At the time when this was the headline in the Press it seemed very clear that this sum of £2M was over and above Farage's 'ACTUAL' expenses. Farage has habitually pointed out since first elected as for instance:

The leader of the UK Independence party (Ukip), which wants to lead Britain out of the EU, has taken £2m of taxpayers' money in expenses and allowances as a member of the European Parliament, on top of his £64,000 a year salary
Nigel Farage, who is calling on voters to punish "greedy Labour, Conservative and Lib Dem MPs" at the European elections on 4 June, boasted of his personal expenses haul at a meeting with foreign journalists in London last week.
The admission threatens to flatten a bounce in the polls for Ukip that has seen the party climb to around 17% over the last fortnight as angry voters flock to smaller parties regarded as untainted by the Westminster expenses scandal.
During a debate about Europe at the Foreign Press Association - which was openly taped by the hosts - Farage was asked by former Europe minister Denis MacShane what he had received in non-salary expenses and allowances since becoming an MEP in 1999.
"It is a vast sum," Farage said. "I don't know what the total amount is but - oh lor - it must be pushing £2 million." Taken aback, MacShane then joked: "Is it too late to become an MEP?"
Farage insisted that he had not "pocketed" the money but had used the "very large sum of European taxpayers' money" to help promote Ukip's message that the UK should get out of the EU.
When asked later by the Observer to justify how he could claim so much while running a campaign attacking Westminster MPs for their extravagance, Farage was unapologetic, saying that, while MEPs were "very expensive", he was entirely happy that the money had been used for the best of causes."
Last night, as Ukip circulated new party literature saying Westminster MPs had "ripped off taxpayers", Farage, who employs his wife to help run his office and pays her from his allowances, faced a backlash as opponents accused him of hypocrisy. MacShane suggested that Ukip's attempt to pose as more honourable on expenses than other parties had been exposed as shameless and hollow.
"Far from being the party of the little man in Europe, Nigel Farage's astounding £2m raid on the taxpayer shows he is up there with any other politician, happy to line his pockets with gold," he said.
Ukip's opponents now hope the admission will halt the party's advance which Farage's supporters believe could see it overtake Labour and secure second place in the European poll.
At the last European elections in 2004, Ukip enjoyed its greatest success, installing 12 MEPs in the European Parliament after securing 16.1% of the vote.
But the success rapidly turned sour as one of the dozen, Ashley Mote, was expelled from the party - and later jailed - for benefit fraud

With the pressure on all parliamentarians mounting, Farage insisted on Friday that from next month all his MEPs would publish their expenses online. "From the moment any Ukip members get elected, all elected MEPs will provide a clear and traceable quarterly statement of their expense accounts," he said.

We were very much past the best part of a year later and into the FORTH Quarter since Farage made this promise, to buy votes, and there was absolutely no sign of the accounts promised and so at the beginning of the week We decided to publish the MEP's accounts for them.
The first set was Nikki Sinclaire's from her own web site - she had voluntarily and independent of Farage's corrupt EUkip published her own account details at Christmas and finally had the detailed accounts on her web site.
There was still no sign of EUkip MEPs honouring the promise - Why are we not surprised!
I published a set of accounts from one MEP and then what passed as accounts from another - This was done without putting names to the accounts in the hope that the MEPs would realise just how risible was the pretence at transparency on their part and in the hope it would shame them into publishing if I kept on publishing the details I had received from a contact close to Farage in the EU.
There are no shortage of leaks from people working for the Faragista Fan Club and his chums as although individuals may have need of their jobs many are disgusted by the way these venal, dishonest and corrupt self seeking low lives that pass for EUkip's MEPs behave. The growing army of ex supporters who desperately wish to see EUkip cleaned up and restored as UKIP the lifeboat we all put so much hope and effort into.
EUkip clearly has absolutely no honest way to defend itself and has hirelings and wanabes seeded all over the internet to lie, cheat and bully - whether in their own name on occassions or in the even more cowardly fake names - Individuals who are being paid large amounts of tax payers money or promises to keep Farage and his malign and dishonest cronies with their snouts in the EU troughs to maintain the cash flow.
At last, presumably when Junius Team had copied the accounts posted last week and put a name to them it seems EUkip was shamed into action.
FIRST let us consider two points:
Point ONE:
At the time Farage was exposed as having trousered some £2 million - it was clearly believed that he meant over and above that which he spent. There had been articles in the media showing how virtually all MEPs could be expected to make at least £1 million in clear profits over and above the salary and incurred expenses during a Parliament in the EU.
It is also clear that Farage has frequently claimed that although as an MEP he if expected to accept some £600 for his return air fare to the EU Assembly by making his bookings in advance he can pay as little as £49.00.
I believe it is clear that this sum of £2 million was a profit sum acquired quite legitimately as the EU is as we know a profligate and corrupt body which pays its sales force obscene bribes to carry out its scams and rip offs.
Point TWO:
That Nigel Farage was able to trouser £2 million and had previously banked about £250K in his Isle of Man off shore account in one go at one stage and was despite promises to the contrary duplicitously paying his wife around £30K a year TO DO WHAT EXACTLY, since his own constituency staff had no idea was it merely a bribe to stay at home and eat whilst turning a blind eye to Farage's well recorded phillandering and drunken chavvery?
Let us put this £2 million in perspective - the MP Expenses Scandal at Westminster amounted as an outside figure to £1.5 million - somewhat less than Farage alone had made!
Whilst Farage was trousering £2 million the Westminster MPs profitted by about £740 each per annum average!
On the strength of the utterly dishonest misrepresentation, to boost circulation, by the struggling Telegraph group owned by the reclusive Barclay Brothers who live on an inaccessible island off of the coast of Sark in the Channel Islands - EUkip was able to lie and spin to obtain extra votes, meanwhile Mark Croucher and Nigel Farage did all they could to raise the profile of the BNP - One starts to realise why now that one sees the Racist and anti Jewish EFD group they have dragged EUkip into in the EU.
FINALLY:
You will note that EUkip has been shamed into publishing some figures for their MEPs.
Clearly the EUkip MEPs have acted in complete contempt of their members and the British electorate, not just in their pretence to transparency by this act of disingenuous obfuscation - these are not accounts, these are not even a pretence at accounts these are just a few figures to dupe people into the belief they have honoured their promise made to buy votes, all be it almost a year later!
EUkip's contempt for the electorate and members goes even further - you will note they are not published on UKIP's web site - it seems the pretence is over and the pretence they are UKIP MEPs is drawing to a close.
EUkip's MEPs are now so immersed in the troughs of the EU that they no longer see themselves as even EUkip MEPs they have posted their accounts on The EFD's web site - the EFD is the vile grouping of racists, anti Jewish sexually intolerant pro EU politicians the EUkip MEPs see themselves as most like and with whom they have formed the group with Farage in charge - Increasingly looking like an entirely new Pan EU Political Party.

You will note in the right side bar a little way down the visual link to UKIP which is about 1/2" x 2" the same size as to their sordid little official blog immediately below 'Bloggers4Ukip' - says it all really doesn't it - when clearly EUkip MEPs should be merely a button on the UKIP web site.
There seems an ever increasing move from the UK and it is noted the incresing number of ex-UKIP senior members leaving Britain for tax benefits in The EU!
IF you hunt around you will find (well hidden) on the EFD oriented web site of EUkip MEPs with much EU news but little talk of these United Kingdoms and links to EU chums far more prominent than to the Institutions of these United Kingdoms - If nothing else this is one of the most crass, amateur and shambolic PR disasters any Idiot could orchestrate for the EFD though it may be deliberate as was EUkip's promotion of the BNP during the election.
Eventually you will find NO CLAIM to publishing the accounts of EFD MEPs butt an obfuscating button for 'transparency' seemingly an amateur attempt at Neural Linguistic Programming (auto suggestion) for these are not accounts in any meaningful way nor do they offer transparency of any kind commensurate with the expectations resultant from Nigel Farage's promise see for yourself at the risibly named: Transparency Reports (2009-2014) well it does seem theis blog with the help of Junius Team have shamed them into doing something - let us see how long to honour Farage's promise of publishing Full Quarterly accounts.
Astonishingly the front page of this clearly EFD web site (press the EFD link at the top), you will note news from Budapest, news from the EU Assembly - many EU based videos - very little about EUkip, the voters, these United Kingdoms.
It is clear that EUkip MEPs are very much gone native as EFD MEPs the web site makes it very clear they are EU centric.
It does look very much like they are no longer fit for purpose and have gone Native to such an extent that they seem to have totally betrayed the electorate and venally and treacherously betrayed these Inited Kingdoms.
There is no doubt that a vote for UKIP no longer delivers the principles, ethics, values or behaviour we used to expect - it now delivers an EU centric EFD racist, anti Jewish and largely pro EU membership EFD MEP.
TO LEAVE THE EU
What is the exit and survival plan for these United Kingdoms to maximise on the many benefits of leaving The EU. It is the DUTY of our Politicians and Snivil Cervants to ensure the continuity, liberty and right to self determination of our peoples they have a DUTY to protect against crime and secure both our food and our border.
NONE of these DUTIES has a single British politician upheld for 40 years. They have drawn their incomes fraudulently and dishonesty.
Politicians are failing to tell the truth, but so are almost all wanabe Politicians, the MSM and Snivil Cervants.
The fact is that even if EVERY British MEP wanted change in The EU it would achieve NOTHING.
Every single British Politician, of EVERY Party, elected since before we joined the EUropean Common Market, has promised to change The EU's CAP - In 40 Years they have achieved absolutely NOTHING!
To try to put a value on OUR Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and as odious as the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our ancestors dreams, sacrifices and achievements, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives, consider the Country and Anglosphere which we thus leave our children and the future, with shame!
