Hi,
I'd like to thank Dr. Eric Edmond for the 'stuff' on his blog. One of the very few blogs I have advertised continuously on my sidebar.
I do enjoy many of Eric Edmond's economic articles, as being a mathematician and a teacher he does have an ability to move his thoughts from the accademic to the understandable! As one who has to take their shoes and socks off for numbers over 10 I always welcome someone who can paint numerical word pictures.
Eric having been talked into politics has shown his aptitude for the subject and at the moment I, like most people it seems, haven't a clue what he stands for but I'm not too worried as I take his economic data on board for what it is.
I wonder what effect on world economics he might see as a result of the discovery of the 29,000 ton expectation of gold in the 'mother load' seam at Bristol Bay Alaska? Similarly the two great lakes of oil that are each bigger than the original reserve in Saudi & Bahrein that are at Gull Island Alaska?
The Russians must be kicking themselves for the sale of their land holdings across the Baring Straits!
Were I he I would be disassociating myself from EUkip since clearly it is finished in terms of principle or any kind of ethical values - even Trevor Colman has befouled the nest, first with his refusal to act responsibly in marketing terms with his various 'wheezez', then with his toadying and willingness to prostitute his Royal commission as a senior police officer in colluding with what he clearly believed to be the criminality of Tom Wise - it would seem in return for a sinecure as a 'safe' MEP seat.
It was of course Trevor Colman who was promising to join with Edmond and others in UKFP after the election - yet they did all they could to get EUkip elected in open support of Farage's aims. We note their general betrayal amounted to nothing once elected! Yet even then Colman did absolutely nothing to reward those foolish enough to be loyal to him.
Colman has lived down to expectation on every count and now is a member of Farage's new racist, violent, intollerant, xenophobic pan EU political group/party - so clearly aiding TheEU as useful idiots in responding to the bribes and building pan EU parties to undermine the basics of National Political Parties.
I wonder howmany of those who actively put themselves out to assist Farage by getting Colman elected were ever thanked by him - besides his cheap skate generic video of thanks!
Let us hope Eric goes on providing economic and banking data on his blog, even when he is no longer of use to EUkip and inspite of Delboy, Lawson & Cole opting to destroy UKFP leaving such as Eric & David Abbott with no group to join unless they are duped into the sad and ill informed BCG, with their beguiling invalidity!
What do 4th June Results tell us?
I took a look at the European Election results and some clear trends were evident. First the turnout steadily diminished in England as one went further North into Labour heartlands and was lowest of all in Scotland and Wales. I give the average figures below:
Turnout
South (4 regions) 37.1%
Midlands (2 regions) 36.3%
North (3 regions) 31.7%
Wales 30.6%
Scotland 28.5%
Clearly the Labour vote did not turnout because of the MP expenses scandal and reflected in the overall change of -6.9% nationally in the Labour vote and loss of 6 MEPs compared with 2004.
If we look at the change in UKIP's share of the vote from 2004 by a North South split the figures are:

Wales 2.3%
Scotland -1.5%
It is clear UKIP picked up some of the disaffected Labour vote in the North and Wales but in Scotland it went to the SNP, a much more professional and bigger party.

The above results shows these effects in more detail.There are more Labour voters in the North of England, Wales, Scotland and the manufacturing heartland of the West Midlands to defect as well as not turn out. Voting Tory is too much for them to stomach so they voted Labour. The East Midlands result is distorted by the RKS effect.
I conclude the slight pick up in the UKIP vote came from Labour heartlands but in middle England, Tory heartland, UKIP lost a small percentage of votes. What does this imply for the the General Election.
Tory voters who voted UKIP in the Europeans in the South will return to the Tory fold. Labour voters who voted UKIP in the North will vote Labour to keep the Tories out at the General Election. It will be a classic third party squeeze in which UKIP is bound to lose badly.
My strategy would be for UKIP to contest only those Westminster Seats where it has a strong District/County Concil vote and an able well known local candidate. Such constituencies are thin on the ground, certainly less than 10.
The other reason for targetting is that Cameron will at best get a small overall majority in the General Election or more likely have to form a minority government. In either case there will be another General Election with 18 months just as happened with Wilson in 64 and 66.
UKIP simple does not have the financial resources to fight two generla elections in such a short time in 500 constituencies. It would cost over one million pounds that UKIP does not have.
TO LEAVE THE EU
What is the exit and survival plan for these United Kingdoms to maximise on the many benefits of leaving The EU. It is the DUTY of our Politicians and Snivil Cervants to ensure the continuity, liberty and right to self determination of our peoples they have a DUTY to protect against crime and secure both our food and our border.
NONE of these DUTIES has a single British politician upheld for 40 years. They have drawn their incomes fraudulently and dishonesty.
Politicians are failing to tell the truth, but so are almost all wanabe Politicians, the MSM and Snivil Cervants.
The fact is that even if EVERY British MEP wanted change in The EU it would achieve NOTHING.
Every single British Politician, of EVERY Party, elected since before we joined the EUropean Common Market, has promised to change The EU's CAP - In 40 Years they have achieved absolutely NOTHING!
To try to put a value on OUR Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and as odious as the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our ancestors dreams, sacrifices and achievements, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives, consider the Country and Anglosphere which we leave our children and the future, with shame!

I SUGGEST – since there is clearly no political party of repute, advocating or campaigning for withdrawal of these United Kingdoms from the EU and restoration of our independent sovereign, democracy, with Justice & the right to self determination in a free country. Deny the self seeking & meaningless wanabe MEPs the Mythical Mandate for which they clamour. Diktat is imposed from The EU but Law should be made at Westminster, for our Country & our Peoples.
