UKIP funds: Here is something that Nigel Farage would rather you and OLAF didn't know!

When the EDD, the forerunner of Ind Dem was dissolved, one of the casualties looked like being the group's Secretary general, Claudine Van Grunderbeeck. Her credibility had been questioned by some MEPs, and her mentor, Jens Peter Bonde, appeared to be losing some power when the group metamorphised into the Ind Dem. Her job was on the line.


But Bonde managed to maintain his influence over the purse strings, and kept Van Grunderbeeck in her job, by arranging the appointment of a a new 'Joint Secretary General', a chap named Herman Verheirstraeten. Verhheirstraeten was a veteran of the EP, and also of indigenious politics, where he is said to have once lost a lucrative government position because of a "breakdown of trust" between himself and his boss. He knew Van Grunderbeeck well, as in her early days in the EP she was employed as his secretary. In fact, he knew her very well indeed, as they are married! The Guardian reported that "an old fashioned Brussels carve-up" was on the way (July 1, 2004).


And a hell of a carve-up it proved to be, with Bonde using his continued influence to ensure that Ind Dem (and this includes UKIP MEPs) continued to fund his wife's business venture, the EU Observer, and also his own political project, the EU Democrats. The latter group supplies staff for Libertas in Brussels, at the expense of Ind Dem (UKIP) MEPs.


But it was Van Grunderbeeck and Verheirstraeten who carved off the best slice of cash. Although they had a "job -sharing" arrangement, meaning that Ind Dem only had a functioning secretariat for two and a half days a week (less in the event of bank holidays), an arrangement was made by which pension contributions were made for both of them on the basis of full time employment for both - one job, two pensions! No wonder Ind Dem (UKIP) MEPs were starved of staff.


Both took early retirement before the end of the Parliament, and now enjoy a staggering €15,000 per month, tax free, for the rest of their lives (not to mention free private health care at taxpayers expense). Compare this to the meagre state pensions of the many UKIP supporters and donors who have stumped up cash time and time again in election campaigns, believing that they were taking part in the fight against this sort of profligacy.


This is where the money that UKIP has brought in through its membership of Ind Dem has gone to.


Their replacement is Emmanuel Bordez, a French official of the EU Democrats and a colleague of the French Libertas candidates in the Ind Dem group. We are sure he hopes for a good UKIP result in June, so he can continue to top up his own pension plan.


Two UKIP staff members have been interviewed recently by OLAF over the illegal payments to EU Observer, which despite what UKIP MEPs were promised, continued until January of this year. Verheirstraeten was named in a complaint to Brussels police over the attempted hacking into UKIP staff computers.


That investigation is understood to be ongoing.

I have directly lifted this article as my concentration level is poor having zapped my back early on Sunday - sorry folks my blog has been a bit bland - Must Try Harder, but in the interin Gordon Brown seems to have been caught with his pants down (nothing new there then!) however I note he has passed the blame down the line as is his won't.

As for the story above I have every faith in it but would caution that it is remarkably similar to details that I understand were supplied by Tom Wise in his attempts to wriggle off the hook - I presume he felt that if he 'dobbed in' his fellow MEPs exposing some of their fiddles, scams and self enrichment having gone native in the EU, he might get more lenient treatment from OLAF and the British Police - I guess we will see whether it worked or not around the 22nd. May!!

I wonder if Tom Wise's apparent efforts at plea bargaining will have helped or hindered the dishonest, duplicitous and thoroughly disloyal Lindsay Jenkins who when it became clear she had colluded in setting up an instrument to defraud as reported was all too willing to turn on her friends and seek not only to involve them but to dishonestly make accusations aimed at saving her own skin at their expense!

On the direct issue of Junius' Blog at leasst the mattere is clearly still extant and dated as it may SEEM there is no doubt it is a current OLAF ongoing enquiry nor that at least 2 individuals have been questioned recently.

Further the figures for the pensions of the two part times are seemingly correct, the EUObserver is still being investigated and rightly so - in that each item in Junius' posting of which I have direct knowledge is correct it is unlikely that Junius' other information is other than correct!

There are still various ongoin enquiries under way by both The British Police and OLAF including those into Derek Clark which would seem to be primarily concerning irregularities of employment as with employing his personal staff with Ashford obtained monies and paying staff who do now work for him - plus of course the fraud and fiddles he boasted of at a public meeting.

Could this lead to his having to pay 5 years worth of taxes on each employee from his own pocket or worse?

There are various enquiries into the behaviour of Farage both in his own right and in his capacity and responsible status on the IndDemGrope also regarding monies in the EU.

Then there is the enquiry into Jeffrey Titford which despite the lies of Gulleyslime on his behalf and their chum the dishonest and incompetent political scribbler for The East Anglian local rag - Graham Dines, the enquiry is still very much active.

Then there is the ongoing enquiry for which Tom Wise is under arrest and currently on bail under the aegis of The DPP, the only moot points there would seem to be has he betrayed his associates and their scams in a manner such that he may be overlooked and will Lindsay Jenkins be charged for her collusion as with will Nigel Farage be charged with receiving, as a beneficiary of the monies stolen as clarified in the media.

TO LEAVE THE EU

What is the exit and survival plan for these United Kingdoms to maximise on the many benefits of leaving The EU. It is the DUTY of our Politicians and Snivil Cervants to ensure the continuity, liberty and right to self determination of our peoples they have a DUTY to protect against crime and secure both our food and our border.
NONE of these DUTIES has a single British politician upheld for 40 years. They have drawn their incomes fraudulently and dishonesty.

Politicians are failing to tell the truth, but so are almost all wanabe Politicians, the MSM and Snivil Cervants.

The fact is that even if EVERY British MEP wanted change in The EU it would achieve NOTHING.
Every single British Politician, of EVERY Party, elected since before we joined the EUropean Common Market, has promised to change The EU's CAP - In 40 Years they have achieved absolutely NOTHING!

To try to put a value on OUR Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and as odious as the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our ancestors dreams, sacrifices and achievements, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives, consider the Country and Anglosphere which we leave our children and the future, with shame!
